Rhythmic Gymnastics in Gibraltar is going from strength to strength thanks to the dedication of the coaching staff, the committee, the parents and most of all the gymnasts. In the last year we have progressed from local competition at the A, B and C levels to competing in England at the British National Championships and in Scotland at the Scottish National Championships. We have also attended competitions in Europe that include clubs from all over the world. More and more of our gymnasts are working hard to qualify to participate in competitions at this level, locally at the Gibraltar Cup Competition, in Spain at the many high level competitions that we attend, in Europe when the opportunity allows, but most importantly in the UK to qualify for British national Championships.

Unfortunately all of this comes with a price. The cost of travel, equipment and costumes is a massive burden on the gymnasts, the club and their parents. Some of our gymnasts have been able to secure personal sponsorships from various companies and we would like to take this opportunity to thank those companies for assisting us in making Rhythmic Gymnastics one of the most successful sports in Gibraltar. We would also like to thank Barclays Wealth for their generous sponsorship of the GRGA for the 2008 season.
